Garden Planning

In Sarah Ban Breathnach’s  book Simple Abundance: A Daybook of Comfort and Joy she talks about June being a great time start planning your dream garden. She suggest starting this process by browsing through gardening magazines. Cut out your favourite flowers and create your ideal garden on paper in a gardening collage in your Illustrated Discovery Journal. Pretend you are creating a secret garden for solitary sojourns,. What does it look like? What gardening accessories and furniture appeal to you? Add them to your collage. Bring your garden fantasy to life on paper first. She then suggests that you source some garden catalogues and send away for some of the seeds you will need to start making your dream garden a reality that you can begin planting inside.
